Something I enjoy about placentas is that there are so many anomalies. 

Anomaly: deviation from the common rule

This placenta has a little buddy... It's called a succenturiate lobe. It's a smaller accessory lobe that's connected to the main placent
I'm a placenta encapsulator, yes. But that's not really why I do this work. 

I do this work because I had a Hell of a time postpartum, and I felt super alone. As an AuDHDer who didn't know it at the time, the hormonal crash hit me particularly hard.
