From "Wrong Planet" to Right Support
Since my divorce in 2020—and now three years into my AuDHD diagnosis—I’ve spent a lot of time figuring out who the heck I am and what my purpose is here on this planet.
If you’ve been following my social media, you’ve watched me try on different "brands"—not just for my business, but for myself. It’s a real mind-f*ck learning so late in life that there is, in fact, a reason I’ve always felt like I was born on the wrong planet.
Through this wild ride, I’ve learned that the best medicine for my nervous system is simplicity. Saying no to things I’d normally say yes to. Retreating into my own little world with my thoughts, my kids, and my animals.
But I remember the other side of that coin. I remember being stuck on my couch, nursing my high-needs baby, paralyzed by the stress of a to-do list that I just couldn’t manage to tackle the way I used to. That inability to figure out how to get stuff done was one of the biggest drivers of my postpartum mental health crisis.
Now, in light of tragedies like the Lindsay Clancy trial, I’m more convinced than ever that we need to intervene earlier. We need to bridge the gap between clinical care and daily survival. We need to stop moms from drowning in the invisible load before they reach a breaking point.
So, I created Postpartum Lighten the Load.
What Is Lighten the Load?
It’s exactly what I wish I had: someone to tackle the to-do lists that feel insurmountable when your brain is foggy, your body is healing, and your heart is heavy.
I combine my background as an educator, my PMH-C certification in perinatal mental health, and my training as an ADHD Coach Candidate to offer neuro-affirming support that works for brains like ours.
How I Help:
✨ Body Doubling: I sit with you while you fold laundry, clean dishes, or organize meds. My presence helps bypass the executive dysfunction paralysis so you can just get it done.
✨ Executive Function Scaffolding: We break down overwhelming tasks into tiny, manageable steps. No shame, no judgment—just practical strategy.
✨ Caregiving Swaps: I watch the baby so you can shower, nap, eat a hot meal, or just stare at the wall in silence. Rest is productive.
Who Is This For?
This is for the mom who feels like she’s failing because her house is messy.
For the mom who is carrying the full weight of the mental, physical, and emotional load of parenting.
For the mom who feels overwhelmed by sensory input and routine changes.
For anyone who needs a village, even if their village is just one person showing up to help them survive the day.
Ready to Lighten the Load?
You don’t have to do this alone. Let me handle the to-do list so you can focus on bonding with your baby and protecting your peace.
